COPPICE LODGE

Back in 2025, the manager of Coppice Lodge Care Home called in to Pond Hills and asked for our Society’s help. There are four areas in the Care Home, each named after an aspect of the Robin Hood story, and he wanted a painting to go at the entrance to each of them – Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Nottingham Castle and a Sherwood Forest oak tree. After much discussion and obstacles overcome, Glenn delivered the remaining 3 paintings to the Home on Tuesday 28th July. The 4 paintings were created by Glenn Major, Carol Smith and Steve Needham.

Kayley, Front of House Manager was delighted with the results
