Margaret Scard Award
On Wed 14th Feb we held the Margaret Scard Award internal competition. The theme, chosen by last year’s winner Philip Chapman, was ‘Reflections’. We had 12 entries and a few extra members joined us to help with the voting. Lynne Wootton won the award, joint 2nd winners were Linda Wright and Philip Chapman and Andy Thorpe came 3rd.
We have another internal competition coming up on Wed 20th March for best portrait, so why not join us, even if you don’t have a portrait to enter into the competition.
1st Place
Lynne Wootton receives 1st place in the Margaret Scard award which is presented by Philip Chapman.

Lynne also receives a certificate and a £20 cash prize.
3rd Place
Andrew Thorpe receives 3rd place, a certificate and £10 cash prize which was presented by Philip.
Joint 2nd place
Linda Wright receives joint 2nd place for her reflections painting presented by Philip, Linda receives a certificate and a £15 cash prize.

Philip receives joint 2nd place which was presented by Lynne. Philip also receives a certificate and a £15 cash prize.
